Alessio Bertaggia, first of Lugano's known cases

This morning, HC Lugano announced that Alessio Bertaggia had tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday. The forward was put into quarantine after showing light symptoms but is feeling fine.

All of the team's players and staff have also been tested after the first case. Two more cases were confirmed by the club tonight, namely Sandro Zurkirchen and Tim Traber. Both are asymptotic.

Due to the three positives, the whole team has been quarantined until at least Friday morning, when the situation will be reassessed. Already decided is that the Bianconeri's weekend games against EHC Biel and SC Bern have to be rescheduled. The SIHC-game between the Pikes Oberthurgau and Lugano, which was supposed to take place today, has already been postponed earlier.
