Schneeberger has one year left on his contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron but it has long been clear that he would not play for the Dragons this season. As for Jörg, he, too, has no place in Lausanne HC's lineup under their new leadership. He was signed before Jan Alston was ousted from LHC and was supposed to play his first season for them this year.
