All permanent employees have signed that declaration and have thus agreed to waive their pay. The large losses in ticketing and in the catering sector, as well as the cost for the installation of additional seats, have made this move unavoidable.
"Thanks to great cost discipline and prudent planning, we have always been able to achieve our financial goals in recent years," CEO Markus Bütler states. "But we can no longer bear the current extraordinary situation without the support of our employees. We as a club are extremely grateful for the kindness, solidarity, and commitment of our employees."
