Former board member sentenced
As the Neue Zürcher Zeitung reports, the former board member of the Zürcher Schlittschuclub Association will have to serve an 18-month suspended sentence for embezzlement and falsification of documents, the District Court of Meilen decided.
He has confessed to everything and has also acknowledged the organization's civil claim of CHF 150,000. According to the indictment, the 57-year-old embezzled the funds, which were raised at the annual ZSC golf tournament, in the amount of CHF 170,000 between 2016 to 2018.
