The 18-year-old forward will participate in Switzerland's World Junior camp as of Sunday. Whether he will return to HC Davos afterwards is not yet clear.

Simon Knak might have played his last game for HC Davos this season yesterday. If he makes the cut, he will play the U20 World Championship with the Swiss team in Canada and, his team, the Portland Winterhawks, might start their season preparation after the tournament.

However, there are rumblings that the WHL start might be pushed back to February, although nothing has been announced yet. If that were to happen, Knak would likely return to Davos, he tells Hansruedi Camenisch of the Davoser Zeitung (published on HC Davos' website).

Knak has appeared in eleven games for the National League team this season, recording two goals and two assists. On average, he was on the ice for 11:15 minutes per game.
