Konstantin Komarek joins EHC Biel.

The contract of Konstantin Komarek with EHC Biel also includes an option to extend it beyond December, Moritz Bill (Bieler Tagblatt) reported and confirmed a report from Johan Svensson (Kvällsposten) that the Austrian forward is going to suit up for EHC Biel from now on.

For the past four seasons, Konstantin Komarek had played in Sweden for Malmö, Karlskrona, and Luleå. Due to the situation around the Coronavirus, Komarek left Luleå last summer in direction of the KHL, where he joined Dinamo Riga. After only 15 games, in which he recorded two goals and four assists, however, he was put on waivers and let go by the Latvian team.

Over the course of his career, Komarek mainly played in the SHL. In 269 games, he put up a total of 117 points (40 goals). In his native country Austria, he appeared in 243 games in the top league EBEL, in which he scored 50 goals and added 88 assists.
