Although Vaucher says that nothing has been decided yet, he makes the case for ten instead of four imports in an interview with the Tages-Anzeiger.

Denis Vaucher, Director of the National League and the Swiss League, points at the numerous foreign players with Swiss licenses, who were on the ice during the 2019-20 season: "In addition to the 'regular' imports, we also had 34 foreigners with a Swiss license. So, on average, there were not four foreigners per team, but almost seven."

Vaucher, for his part, does not see a problem for the development of young Swiss players: "Junior development does not take place in the National League," he says, and points at the lower leagues. "The requirement to continue to invest at least as much in young talent as today will be part of the shareholders' agreement."

Moreover, he says that the introduction of a sort of "Financial Fairplay" is generally undisputed, but that the details have to be worked out yet. It also looks like that there will be no relegation also next season: "It would be wrong to reintroduce it next season because of the ongoing crisis," Vaucher explains in the Tages-Anzeiger.
