According to Zahner, it is about a loan of 25% of the operating expenses of each the ZSC Lions and GCK Lions organisation, which will be interest-free and repayable over a fixed period of time.
As the CEO further mentioned, another measure would be an application for the so-called "à-fonds-perdu" contributions. The club's leadership will decide on that sometime in January.
Moreover, Zahner explained that the cost-cutting measures were initiated already in spring this year when the season was canceled. On the one hand, the club was able to take advantage of the short-time work compensation. On the other hand, players and staff agreed to a salary deferral, and in a second step - a salary waiver.
