Perttu Lindgren will not play for HC Davos anymore. An unsatisfying performance so far this season has lead to both parties agreeing to not have the player suit up for the cub anymore. Team manager Raeto Raffainer and Lindgren's agent are working to find a solution for the players' future.
Lindgren joined Davos in 2013, coming over from the KHL. During his time with them, the 33-year-old won one championship title (in 2014-15) and one MVP-award (in 2015-16). During the 2017-18 season, he was plagued by a hip injury, keeping him out of the lineup for most of the games.
As Lindgren tells Kristian Kapp (Tages-Anzeiger), he would like to stay in Switzerland. His family will continue living in Davos, as it is their home.
According to the Südostschweiz, team manager Raffainer is already looking for an import to replace Lindgren. The same source also mentions a DEL-club being interested in signing the Finn.
