The 34-year-old forward is thinking about maybe retiring at the end of this season.

"It could well be my last year," David Desharnais reveals in the podcast Drette su'l tape, hosted by David Beaucage (relayed by Le Matin). The former NHL forward has been thinking about retirement for a while, but the pandemic might influence him to retire sooner rather than later.

"We play without fans. It's not what it used to be. It's not as much fun. If things get back to normal, maybe, " Desharnais tells Beaucage. "But you know, we're in an apartment here. If I bring back the virus, we have to be in quarantine, with the kids at home. And we can't go out, because we don't have a garden."
