Although the Tigers seem to have found an external solution to finance another foreigner, there will probably not be a new face anytime soon.

This is what the SCL Tigers' team manager Marc Eichmann told the Berner Zeitung. One option for them is still a return of Erik Brännström, who is currently a rather long way from playing for the Ottawa Senators in the NHL. The Tigers thus have maintained contact to the Swedish defenseman.

In other news, the Berner Zeitung reported recently that SC Bern's defender Miro Zryd might move to Langnau next season in spite of a valid contract with the Bears until 2022. Eichmann would be interested if Zryd was actually available: "Then he would be a very exciting player for us, at which we would have to look intensively."
