HC Ambrì-Piotta has decided to sign Brendan Perlini due to Matt D'Agostini's injury and also due to their long list of injury-related absences in the roster in general.

Perlini was an RFA this season but did not get an offer from the Detroit Red Wings. The forward was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes and appeared in 239 NHL games, recording 46 goals and 30 assists. Last season, he put up one goal and three assists in 39 games for the Red Wings.
