Given the recent signing of Raphael Diaz, Christian Dubé will have to make some adjustments in terms of the payroll for the 2021-22 season.

As he already told La Liberté in a previous interview, he will need to save about a million on the payroll despite the impact Diaz will have on it: "We're getting there by making several small or medium savings, especially on certain salaries. There won't be a fifth import player unless there is a huge surprise."

HC Fribourg-Gottéron's roster for the 2021-22 season is almost complete. They have already filled seven spots on the defense and twelve on the offense. For the latter, they would like to add one import player and one Swiss forward.

According to La Liberté Andrei Bykov, who has only ever played for the Dragons, has yet to receive an offer from the National League team and when he will, it will likely be a lot lower than what he has received in the past.
