"If he is considering a return to Switzerland, he will, of course, also be of interest to us," Reto Kläy, team manager of EV Zug, tells the Luzerner Zeitung. "Bärtschi will reassess the situation after the season, his focus is on the NHL."
Whereas Bärtschi might be a candidate for the 2021-22 roster of EVZ, Justin Abdelkader is already slated to join Zug this season. There are some details left to deal with regarding his visa, but if everything goes well, he should be able to fly to Switzerland on Wednesday or Thursday. After his arrival, he will have to isolate himself for seven days.
