According to Klaus Zaugg (Watson), SCB's new management has decided to extend Beat Gerber's deal for another season. Apparently, he has also been assured that he will continue to be employed by the Bears after he retires.
Gerber told Blick a week ago that he would like to continue his career but that talks with SC Bern had not been fruitful. It now looks like he will get the chance to play a 19th season with SC Bern.
