With 17 goals and 21 assists in 58 games, Libor Hudáček has been Nizhnekamsk's best scorer so far this season. Due to his team being out of playoff contention, the 30-year-old was offered to other teams, one of them being Lausanne HC. The Lions decided to sign him for the rest of the season.

"We are very pleased to welcome Libor to our team. He will be an excellent addition to it", Petr Svoboda, Lausanne's Director of Hockey Operations, comments the signing.

The newly-acquired forward will not yet be eligible to play tomorrow Thursday but is good to go for the Lions' game on Saturday.
