Because SC Bern will hand over the responsibility for their National League team to the Swedish duo Johan Lundskog and Christer Olsson, the future of Mario Kogler is up in the air. According to the Berner Zeitung, the 33-year-old Austrian will probably remain with the club as their U20-coach.
A move, which Kogler seems to confirm to the Neue Zürcher Zeitung: "If you measure the job in terms of self-fulfillment, it may be a step backward. But I don't think that way," he explains. "Junior coach at SCB is a good position where I can show what I'm made of."
The Berner Zeitung suggests, however, that Kogler will not stay without an out-clause in his new contract - in case there is a chance for him to return to coach on a higher level.
