"As I've said before, I like playing here, and off the ice, despite all the restrictions due to Covid-19, we are doing well," Tim Heed tells the Corriere del Ticino. "I honestly don't know yet what will happen next year, but if I think about my future, Lugano is definitely an [...] option."

After four seasons with the San Jose Sharks, Tim Heed signed with HC Lugano in August 2020. Since then, the defenseman has recorded 14 goals and 17 assists in 44 games.

After Magnus Nygren, Heed has become the second most deployed defender in the league: on average, he has been on the ice for 25:42 minutes per game. He is also in the top-3 of shot-blocking with 107 shots blocked.
