"A good player who we know can score goals. Clearly interesting. A name we have discussed" comments Patrik Sylvegård on Jesper Olofsson to the Swedish newspaper (news relayed by hockeysverige.se). At the moment, the 29-year-old holds a contract with SC Bern that will expire at the end of the season.
Arrived in Bern at the end of 2020 for his first experience outside Scandinavia, Olofsson has scored eleven goals and collected 13 assists in 33 games so far in this season. Since the arrival of linemate Cory Conacher from Lausanne, Olofsson has recorded 18 points in the last 20 games. Prior to that, he only had six points in 13 games.
