National League

The National League team has apparently made an offer to the Swedish forward.

A Swede for Davos?

According to Swedish newspaper Värmlands Folkblad (relayed by HeShootsHeScoores), HC Davos has made an offer to Joakim Nygård. Currently part of the Edmonton Oilers' organization, the forward's contract is running out.

Before joining the Oilers in 2019, Nygård played for Färjestadt BK in the SHL. Earlier this season, he was loaned back to Sweden until the NHL start. Since then, the 28-year-old has only suited up six times for Edmonton and has recently been waived.
