In mid-April, the Berner Zeitung reported that Kogler was a candidate for one of EHC Biel's vacant assistant coaching positions. However, according to the SonntagsBlick, Mario Kogler will stay within SC Bern's organization and become part of the U20 team again.
The Berner Zeitung already reported back in March that Kogler might return to his previous position, but that his new deal would likely contain an out clause.
