HC Lugano announced at the end of April that the forward would no longer be part of their team.

Matteo Romanenghi off to Porrentruy?

According to Omar Gargantini (RSI), it looks like Matteo Romanenghi might be able to stay in the National League. There are rumblings that a two-year contract with HC Ajoie is on the table for him.

The 26-year-old forward had been part of HC Lugano's organization since 2010. This season, he appeared in 23 games for the Bianconeri (one assist) and 13 regular-season games for the HCB Ticino Rockets, recording five goals and six assists.
