ZSC Lions add a Portuegues Canadian player to their roster

The ZSC Lions' team manager Sven Leuenberger states that with Azevedo they have found the right-shooting, face-off specialist they were looking for on the market.

Justin Azevedo was drafted by the L.A. Kings in 2008. After four seasons in the AHL, he played one year in Finland and one year in Czechia. He then found a more permanent home in Ak Bars Kazan, a team he has played for since 2014. This season, Azevedeo put up five goals and 17 assists in 30 games.

The Lions also confirmed the departures of Tim Berni (Columbus Blue Jackets), Severin Blindenbacher (?), Ryan Lasch (?), Fredrik Pettersson (?), Raphael Prassl (HC Davos), Axel Simic (HC Davos) and Roman Wick (?).
