According to Klaus Zaugg (Watson), Anton Lander is on Raeto Raffainer's wish list. While the Chief Sport Officer did not directly comment on Zaugg's report, he did make a statement in regard to their strategy for the acquisition of their import players.

"We only have money for one good import player," Raffainer states. "The KHL market has now opened and we hope to find something there. Our funds for the signing of a second import player are limited and we will likely wait a bit."

Anton Lander is a product of Timrå IK's organization. Drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in 2009, the forward played six seasons in the NHL/AHL before returning to Europe in 2017. In 53 games for Yaroslavl this season, he recorded 14 goals and 18 assists.
