According to the Südostschweiz, Gilles Senn is supposed to sign his new deal with HC Davos in the upcoming days. The goalie already wore their jersey from 2011 to 2019, before he left Switzerland to join the organization of the New Jersey Devils.

Gilles Senn would be the third goalie on HCD's roster apart from Robert Mayer and Sandro Aeschlimann. In Davos, they hope that the interest from other teams in Mayer will grow again when Senn is no longer on the market and they can get rid of him.

Moreover, the Südostschweiz reports that Davos has already had intense talks with the Swedish forward Dennis Rasmussen. The 30-year-old recently played for the KHL's Metallurg Magnitogorsk. But with a good performance at the IIHF Worlds, he apparently first wants to try to earn himself another contract in the KHL.

Joakim Nygård, who was offered a contract by HCD, however, will not move to Davos. According to the Värmlands Folkblad, the Swedish forward has agreed to a six-year deal with the SHL's Färjestad BK.
