This past season, Harri Pesonen suited up for Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Ak Bars Kazan in the KHL. In a total of 60 games, he scored eight goals and added 15 assists. Pesonen is the Tigers' third new import-player for the upcoming season besides forwards Alexandre Grenier () and Jesper Olofsson ().
Moreover, the SCL Tigers also announce that Dean Fedorchuk is going to join the coaching team around head coach Jason O'Leary. The 50-year-old Canadian worked for HC Fribourg-Gottéron in the past four seasons, first as assistant coach and then as their head scout.
