Martin Gernát will wear Lausanne's colours once again.

For the Slovak defender Gernát it is the second stint with Lausanne, as he has already played some games for them during the 2017-18 season. Most recently he hit the ice in Czechia for HC Oceláři Třinec. With Lausanne, he agreed on a three-year-contract.
Phil Varone joins Lausanne HC from the KHL with a one-year-contract. The Canadian forward played last season for the KHL's Barys Nur-Sultan. Prior to that, the 30-year-old mostly suited up in the AHL, Varone has, however, also played a total of 97 games in the NHL.
