The Swiss Ice Hockey Award for the Goaltender of the Year (Jaques Plante Trophy) went to Leonardo Genoni, who led EV Zug's in their run for the title this past season. In the playoffs, he posted a save percentage of 93.6%.
Besides Genoni, Genève-Servette HC's Gauthier Descloux, and SC Rapperswil-Jona's Melvin Nyffeler were also nominated for the award.
