The SCL Tigers have extended their expiring contracts with 24-year-old Finn Aleksi Saarela and 20-year-old Keijo Weibel for two additional seasons. Whereas Saarela joined the Tigers for the current season, Weibel is a product of the Tigers' junior organization.
So far in this season, Saarela has recorded ten points (four goals) in 13 games, while Weibel has collected three assists in eight games.
On a side note, the SCL Tigers also inform that Bastian Guggenheim will be out indefinitely with mononucleosis. The 19-year-old defenseman has suited up ten times for the Tigers this season.
