Maxime Fortier joined HC Ajoie from the EHCL in October to help with the team's injury troubles. Valid until the end of the year, his contract contains an option for the remainder of the season. As the Quotidien Jurassien (relayed by SwissHabs) writes, Ajoie would like to keep the Québecois on board.
Since joining the National League team, Fortier has made nine games for them, recording five goals and two assists. The 23-year-old is one of seven imports (six from Québec) to have suited up for Ajoie so far this season.
