"I'm playing to get a new contract. I do the best I can and play in the role I have here," Daniel Brodin tells SportExpressen when asked about his future. While his first choice seems to be the Dragons, he would like to stay in Switzerland in general.
"It's a damn fun league. Fast-paced. It has a lot of good players too. And it's good for the family. They're really happy," the Swede states, adding that they also have good conditions to succeed in Fribourg.
It is also no secret that Brodin has been in contact with Joakim Eriksson, the GM of Djurgården, who is interested in a return of Brodin. However, the Swede makes clear that his priorities lie elsewhere for the time being.
