The 37-year-old goaltender is currently in his first season with SC Bern and has appeared in eight games for them, posting a .922 save percentage. "Daniel Manzato has surpassed our expectations," team manager Andrew Ebbett states. "His on-ice performance combined with his leadership in the locker room has great value for SC Bern."
While Manzato will thus stay in the capital city, Jeremi Gerber will not extend his contract. SC Bern would have liked to extend his contract, but the forward has decided to take on a new adventure. In 25 games for SC Bern this season, he has recorded five goals and two assists.
