Player and club are content with each other, so an additional year has been added to their partnership, taking it to at least 2024.

HC Davos

Signed to a two-year deal this past summer, Matěj Stránský has been able to convince HC Davis with his performances ever since his arrival. In follow-up talks to the Czech informing his club that he will not make use of his out-clause in spring, they agreed on an early contract extension. Stránský will thus be with Davos until 2024.

With 13 goals and 14 assists in 30 games so far, the 28-year-old is second on Davos' top scorer list, behind Mathias Bromé.

"Not only on the ice but also in the dressing room, Matej is an enormously valuable personality with his experience and leadership skills. The fact that he feels so comfortable here in Davos, both privately and in terms of sports, and has now extended his contract ahead of schedule, is also great recognition for our organization. We are very happy that Matej will stay with the Hockey Club Davos long-term", team manager Jan Alston states.
