The Spengler Cup cancelation is leaving its mark, but the club has enough liquidy to finish the season.

The Südostschweiz has asked Gaudenz Domenig about the financial impact the Spengler Cup cancelation will have on HC Davos. The club's president stated that they have enough liquidity to finish the season and fulfill their financial obligations. "But we are going to finish the season with an adverse balance."

Rehabilitation measures will be necessary. "Typically, the measures include contributions from our supporter clubs. Annually, that is usually over 1.5 million francs we receive, next year we will certainly need more. In addition, there will probably have to be a capital increase", Domenig states.

The president also points out that they will generally need the aid of the "HCD-family".

In other news, the Südostschweiz reports that the number of positive Covid-cases on Davos is now 26.
