Journalist Patrick Della Valle (Teleticino) reported earlier this week that HC Lugano is considering to let Matteo Nodari go or send him to the HCB Ticino Rockets. Now, the Bianconeri have confirmed that Nodari will no longer wear their jersey and leave the club.
The 34-year-old is going to continue his career with another club. With which club is, however, not yet known.
Since the international break in November, Nodari was in HC Lugano's line-up only four times and ended up being scratched eleven times. In 28 games with the Bianconeri, the defender collected nine points.
