National League

Whereas EHC Biel's Gilian Kohler will reinforce HC Ajoie's offense, SC Bern's Thomas Thiry will boost the defense.

With HC Ajoie, Gilian Kohler has signed a two-year deal. The 21-year-old forward leaves therefore his formative club for which he played in the last four seasons. Back during the 2018-19 season, Kohler already suited up for HC Ajoie on loan from EHC Biel. This season, Kohler recorded five points so far.

For his part, Thomas Thiry leaves SC Bern and joins HC Ajoie after two seasons in the capital city. The 24-year-old righthanded defenseman grew up in the organization of Genève-Servette HC and Ajoie will be his fourth National League club. This season, the Frenchman collected six points with the Bears. He, too, has signed a two-year deal.

As for the extensions, they are about a goaltender and two forwards: Tim Wolf (until 2024), Thibault Frossard (until 2024), and Steven Macquat (until 2023). Whereas Wolf, 30, has been the netminder of HC Ajoie since 2019, Frossard, 28, has only ever played for the Ajoulots. Steven Macquat too is a long-term member of the team from the Canton of Jura.
