Kalle Kossila played for Jokerit Helsinki this season, the team that withdrew from the KHL playoffs due to the current situation in Ukraine. In 39 games for them, the center recorded seven goals and 14 assists.
The acquisition of Kossila became a necessity due to Andrew Rowe sustaining an injury in the game against Lausanne HC on Saturday. The nature of his injury has not been disclosed, but he will be out indefinitely.
