"This playoff is a goodbye for me. This is my last chance to bring home a trophy," Jakub Kovář tells the Tages-Anzeiger. Apparently, ZSC has offered him a deal for another season, but the goalie wants to return to his country for his family.
"My five-year-old son will start school next year, and I want to be there," Kovář states. The goaltender, who joined the ZSC Lions in late December, has appeared in 14 regular-season games (.932 save percentage) and four playoff games (.932 save percentage) for the National League team.
