The 30-year-old forward has activated his out clause and will play for Timrå IK for the next three seasons.

Zentralplus already reported in February that Anton Lander would return to Sweden if Timrå IK managed to stay in the SHL. As they managed to avoid relegation, Lander has now opted out of the final season of his contract.

Lander already made clear that he might return to Sweden after one season when EV Zug signed him. The Swede has decided to return to his home country for his family. In 42 regular-season games, Lander recorded twelve goals and 19 assists.

As for his replacement, team manager Reto Kläy already told Zentralplus in February that if Lander was to leave, they would look for another centerman with leadership qualities.
