Sven Helfenstein, agent of Thierry Paterlini, confirms to the Berner Zeitung that the two parties have talked, but also states that they are talking with several teams at the moment.
Paterlini has a valid contract with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds for the upcoming season. However, it does include an out clause for the National League.
The SCL Tigers have apparently received over fifty applications for their vacant head coaching position. They have also been in discussions with their former head coach Heinz Ehlers, but, as the Dane tells the Berner Zeitung, he has not heard from them now for several weeks.
