One additional import and one Swiss player will bolster the National League team's defense the coming season.

Valentin Pilet already played for Ajoie before
EHC Visp

Terrence James Brennan's return to Switzerland was first reported by his former team, Red Bull Salzburg, two weeks ago. HC Ajoie now has officialized this, announcing a one-year deal for the US-American.

"We are very excited to welcome T.J. Brennan to our team. T.J. has excellent qualities as an offensive defender with his great experience across the Atlantic. I'm sure he'll enjoy his time here in Porrentruy", team manager Julien Vauclair states.

During his one season with Salzburg in the ICEHL, the 33-year-old won the championship and was one of their most productive players.

Valentin Pilet, for his part, recently had his contract with EHC Visp dissolved to play in the National League. He signed a new two-year deal with Ajoie. It is his second time suiting up for them, his first stint was during the 2019-20 season.

"We are very happy to have Valentin Pilet on our team. Valentin has excellent physical qualities that will be very useful on the boxplay. He already knows a lot of people in the locker room", Vauclair comments.
