Over the next weeks, Arnaud Riat will practice with HC Ajoie hoping to earn himself a contract with the Ajoulots. The 23-year-old forward left the organization of Genève-Servette HC after the past season. Missing from practice, on the other hand, was Ian Derungs. The new addition of HCA will return in October following surgery on his meniscus.

Another new face in Jura is that of Ivano Zanatta. The 61-year-old Italian coach has offered his services to HCA and will be there as long as he wants. "We always said we didn't have the budget to have two assistant coaches. Ivano has kindly offered to help us out. This is a big plus because he knows Swiss hockey perfectly and has connections all over the world" comments team manager Julien Vauclair.

Regarding the import market, Vauclair revealed that the sixth foreigner has been signed and will join the team by the end of the week. "He is a complete player, with offensive skills and solid defensively. A big guy with an experience of 200 games in the NHL" states Vauclair.
