Grenier's contract, which was valid until 2024, has been dissolved by mutual agreement. He joins the Eisbären Berlin.

The step follows "a thorough analysis in the last weeks," it says in a statement issued by the SCL Tigers. As anticipated this morning by Klaus Zaugg (Watson) and later confirmed by his new club, Grenier is going to play for the Eisbären Berlin in the DEL until the end of the season.

Alexandre Grenier missed the past four games due to injury, but would have been good to go again this weekend. The Tigers' team manager Pascal Müller is now looking for a replacement, who will reinforce his team for the remainder of the season.

This season, Alexandre Grenier has appeared in six of the Tigers' ten games. He was on the ice for a bit more than 17 minutes per game on average and scored two goals.
