Last employed as head coach of EHC Visp until October 2020, Matti Alatalo has found a new job. He has signed with HC Lugano as assistant coach until the end of the season.
Alatalo, father of Lugano-defenseman Santeri, was head coach Gianinazzi's first choice for the open position, as the club writes. The two know each other already from a mentoring program, during which the new assistant accompanied the new head coach.
