After Kahun's injury, SC Bern has reacted quickly. They have signed former NHL forward Tyler Ennis for the remainder of the season.

Since 2009, Tyler Ennis had played in the NHL, but was without a team this season so far. Now it is clear that the 33-year-old is going to play in Switzerland for the second time in his career. During the lockout in 2012-13, Ennis already wore the jersey of the SCL Tigers in nine games.

"Tyler is an extremely dynamic player with a lot of experience," SCB's team manager Andrew Ebbett says. "We wanted to react immediately to the loss of Dominik Kahun and are happy we could find such a good solution within a short time." If Ennis will already be able to make his debut against EHC Biel on Tuesday is not yet clear.

As for Dominik Kahun, he is expected to be out of SC Bern's line-up for at least four to six weeks due to a shoulder-injury, SCB announces. If he will have to undergo surgery will be decided after an MRI later today.
