However, they are now able to go ahead with their plans and will start construction in March 2023. The project is supposed to be finished in the autumn of 2024.
"With the additional training opportunities on the second ice rink and especially also in the athletics hall, we want to strengthen and develop the training of our young talent in the long term," says Head of Sports Pascal Müller.
The project contains the construction of a second rink, a big athletics area, another catering area as well as a new additional stand in the Ilfishalle.
