HC Lugano has acquired Lukáš Klok for the remainder of the season. The 27-year-old has dissolved his contract with Rögle BK and will be available to the Bianconeri as soon as tonight when they face Genève-Servette HC.
"Lukas is a defenseman with strong defensive qualities and good skating", team manager Hnat Domenichelli states. "He will also be able to help us a lot in the game on the penalty kill and will give our roster more depth."
Klok started his career in the junior department of HC Vitkovice. After a short stint in the USHL, he returned to his youth team and made his Extraliga-debut in 2014. Four years later, Klok left for the KHL. Via the Liiga, the KHL again, the AHL and the SHL he has now landed in the National League.
