Following last week's incidents, and in agreement with the club, the league has decided to ban choreography, drums, and flags from ZSC's curves.

On Saturday a week ago, ZSC Lions' fans lit pyrotechnic material in Rapperswil and tried to storm the stadium late at night. As Peter Zahner, CEO of the Lions, tells the Tages-Anzeiger, they have taken the first countermeasures both at home and away games: "For us, it is clear: This is not acceptable. Now there are no more choreography, no more drums, no more flags."

Zahner continues explaining that if something like this happens again, further measures, such as ID checks for the standing-room fans, would follow.

Until further notice, therefore, no fan material will be allowed to Lions' fans but things could change after some games: "It may be that after a certain number of games, they will say: drums and megaphones are allowed again. Or small flags. But the large flags, which can be misused to cover up certain things or change positions, are unlikely to be seen for a while" finishes Zahner.
