After Noah Meier from the ZSC Lions, the SCL Tigers announce the addition of another promising youngster. Brian Zanetti, who is currently in his second season with the OHL's Peterborough Petes, has decided to join them for the next two seasons.

"My goal is still the NHL and I see the best sporting conditions for my next development step with the SCL Tigers," Zanetti is quoted in the Tigers' press release. Team manager Pascal Müller describes the addition as "an important and strong sign for the Tigers organization that such a young and ambitious talent has chosen to join us."

Since moving to the OHL in 2021, Brian Zanetti has appeared in a total of 87 games with the Peterborough Petes, in which he recorded 32 points (seven goals). At the 2021 NHL Draft, Zanetti was picked by the Philadelphia Flyers as #110 overall.
