A few weeks ago, Omark told NSD that the reports are just that: rumors and that while he loves Luleå Hockey, he still has a contract with GSHC. However, Norrbottens-Kuriren (relayed by hockeysverige.se), now reports again that Omark is considering an early return to Luleå.
This would, however, mean that he would have to come to an agreement with Genève-Servette HC regarding his contract which is also valid for the 2023-24 season. As for the SHL team, team manager Stefan Nilsson states that he has "no hopes that he will play for us next season" and thinks that Omark will honor his contract.
Omark has recorded twelve goals and 28 assists in 40 games for Genève-Servette HC this season.
